The Crime News Desk: Tomorrow Thursday (June 29), one of the religious festivals of Muslims is the holy Eid-ul-Azha. The Muslim community in Chittagong and the capital Dhaka will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with proper religious dignity and solemnity.
The first and main congregation in Chittagong city will be held at Jamiatul Falah Masjid Maidan at 7:30 AM. The second congregation will be at the same place at 8:30 am.
Preparations have been completed across the country for the holy Eid-ul-Azha prayers. The main congregation of Eid-ul-Azha will be held at 7:30 am at the National Eidgah in the capital. However, if the weather is inclement, instead of the National Eidgah, the main congregation will be held at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram at 8 am.
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapas said that this time 35,000 worshipers will be able to offer prayers at the National Eidgah.
Besides, like every year, five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The first congregation will be at 7 am. Then the second Jamaat will be held at 8 am, the third Jamaat at 9 am, the fourth Jamaat at 10 am and the last Jamaat will be held at 10:45 am.
Like every year, Eid-ul-Azhar congregation will be held at the historic Sholakia Eidgah Maidan in Kishoreganj at 9 am. This year, the 195th Eid-ul-Azhar congregation will be held in Maidan.
This time also two special trains called ‘Sholakia Express’ will run on the Bhairab-Kishorganj-Bhairab and Mymensingh-Kishorganj-Mymensingh lines to facilitate the participation of the people of the surrounding districts in the Eid congregation at Sholakia.
‘Sholakia Express-1’ will leave Bhairab at 6 am and reach Kishoreganj at 8 am. Again it will leave Kishoreganj at 12 noon and reach Bhairab at 2 pm. ‘Sholakia Express-2’ will leave Mymensingh at 6:30 am and reach Kishoreganj at 8:30 am. Again it will leave Kishoreganj at 12 noon and reach Mymensingh at 3 pm.
The main congregation in Rangpur will be held at Collectorate Eidgah ground at 8 am. In case of rain, the main congregation will be at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre. Here the first congregation will be at 8 am and the second congregation will be at 9 am. Eid congregation will also be held at Police Lines ground at 7:30 am.
The main congregation in Khulna will be held at Khulna Circuit House Maidan at 8 am. However, if the weather is unfavorable, the main congregation will be held at Khulna Town Jame Masjid at 8 am. Second Jamaat will be held at 9 am and third Jamaat at 10 am at Town Jama Masjid. Eid congregation will be held at Khulna Aliya Madrasa Model Mosque at 7:30 am.
The main congregation in Barisal will be held at 7 am at Hemayet Uddin Central Eidgah ground on Band road in the city. Besides, two Eid congregations will be held in some big mosques of the city.
The main Eid congregation of Sylhet city will be held at the historical Shahi Eidgah Maidan at 8 am. The second large Eid congregation will be held at the same time at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shahparan (RA) shrine mosques.
The main congregation in Mymensingh will be held at 8 am at Anjuman Eidgah ground in the city. The second congregation will be at the same place at 9:30 am.
