Dhaka Bureau: So far, 70 thousand 256 passengers from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj. Of these, the last 10 people lost their lives.

On Sunday (June 11), the airlines carrying Hajj pilgrims, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, and the Hajj Office came to know about this information.

Among the pilgrims who went to Saudi Arabia, 9 thousand 350 people went to the government management and 60 thousand 906 people went to the private management. So far, 1 lakh, 8 thousand, and 357 visas have been issued.

1 lakh, 27 thousand, and 198 people from Bangladesh were supposed to go for Hajj this year. But this time, due to the high cost of Hajj, the government has completed the overall preparations for Hajj, leaving about 3,500 quotas vacant.

Then the first flight of pilgrims started on May 21. It will end on June 22. After performing Hajj, the return flight will start on July 2. The return flight will end on August 2.

Incidentally, the Holy Hajj will be held on June 27 (9 Zilhaj) this year, subject to moon sightings.
