Dhaka Bureau: Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit. The Indian High Commission announced this news in a press release on Monday (June 5).
According to the notification, the Indian army chief is visiting Bangladesh on June 5 and 6 at the invitation of Bangladesh army chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed. At this time, he will visit the passing out parade at the Bangladesh Military Academy, Chittagong.
Apart from this, during the visit, he will offer wreaths at the Shikha Anirban Altar of Dhaka Cantonment. Through this, the Indian Army Chief will pay tribute to the members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces who made the supreme sacrifice in the 1971 War of Independence.
During the visit, Manoj Pandey will hold bilateral talks with the Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh. He will review the defense cooperation between India and Bangladesh.
