Dhaka Bureau: The last budget session of the 11th National Parliament will begin on Wednesday, May 31, at 5 p.m. President Md. Sahabuddin convened this session on Sunday under the power given in Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution.
Speaker Dr. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will present the budget for the financial year 2023–24 in the parliament on June 1 under the chairmanship of Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, according to sources in the parliament secretariat.
The Public Relations Department of the Parliament said that His Excellency the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Sahabuddin convened the 23rd and 2023 budget sessions of the 11th National Parliament on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
