Dhaka Bureau: The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee has announced the suspension of the SSC and equivalent examinations of all boards to be held on Monday (May 15) due to the impact of Cyclone Mokha in the Bay of Bengal.
This information was provided in a press release signed by Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, on Sunday (May 14).
It has been said that due to the strong cyclone ‘Mokha’ created in the Bay of Bengal, the ongoing SSC/Equivalence Examination 2023 under the Comilla Education Board, Jessore Education Board, Chittagong Education Board, Barisal Education Board, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board will be held on May 15. The examinations to be held on Monday, 2023, were postponed. However, as the questions of all the boards of the examination to be held on May 15, 2023, are identical, the examination of all the boards on that date has been postponed.
It also said that the revised schedule of the postponed examination will be notified later through a notification. On May 16, 2023, the examination will continue as per the previously announced schedule.
Earlier on Saturday (May 13) morning, in a press release signed by the President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar, the SSC exams to be held in six education boards of the country on Sunday and Monday were postponed.
