Dhaka Bureau: Election Commissioner Brigadier General Md. Ahsan Habib Khan (retired) said that the current Election Commission is very careful about every election. We are trying to give free, beautiful, and impartial elections to the nation. Now we have Gazipur, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, and Rajshahi 5 city elections.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the Khulna City Corporation election preparation meeting at the Khulna Deputy Commissioner’s conference room on Monday (May 8) at 10:30 a.m.
Election Commissioner Rasheda Sultana said in the speech of the special guest in the meeting that everyone should work honestly to conduct the election well. Free, fair, impartial, and acceptable elections will be held in five city corporations, including Khulna.
The Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Returning Officer, Election Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, and Executive Magistrates were present in the meeting.
