Bandarban Correspondent: Due to the death of Bandarban Municipality Mayor Mohammad Islam Bebi, Municipal Panel Mayor-1 Saurabh Das took over as Mayor with financial powers on Wednesday (May 03) morning.
He first started the new padayatra by paying tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and placing wreaths and meeting the municipal officials/employees along with all the councilors at the municipal office.
Above all, he wishes for everyone’s sincerity and full cooperation in order to complete his unfinished works in a beautiful and orderly manner, out of respect for the late Mayor Mohammad Islam Bebi.
