Own Correspondent: Mymensingh Day was celebrated in Chittagong with a joyous procession and flag hoisting. On this occasion, a victory procession was organized by the Greater Mymensingh Samiti in the city on Monday (May 1) morning.
In the morning, all the public and association leaders of the greater Mymensingh district living in Chittagong gathered at the association’s office at Nandankanan in Chittagong city. At this time, the program was inaugurated by flying balloons and pigeons, the Chief Guest of Greater Mymensingh Society, Zahirul Kabir, the Digital Security Tribunal Court (District Judge), and the Chittagong Court Building. Later, the flag was hoisted to the beat of the national anthem.
Mymensingh Day Rally starts from all last offices. All the leaders and workers of the association marched with the rally. Starting from Nandankanan, the rally went through the city’s Cheragi hills, circled various roads, including the press club, and ended again at Nandankanan.
At that time, the leaders of the association said that the Greater Mymensingh Association is a part of Mymensingh in Chittagong. All the people of Mymensingh living in Chittagong called on everyone to unite and help the backward people of Mymensingh.
On the occasion of Mymensingh Day, the members of the association highlighted the importance of the day with various fashion banners, including discussion meetings and cultural programs.
