Nurul Islam: The SSC and equivalent exams of 2023 are starting tomorrow, Sunday (April 30). This time there are 4 thousand 954 SSC and equivalent candidates in Lohagara, South Chittagong. Among them were 3 thousand 461 SSC candidates, 1 thousand 365 equivalent candidates, and 128 technical candidates. Seven test centers have been set up in Lohagara. Among the centers, there were 826 candidates at Golam Bari Government Model High School, 1 thousand 73 candidates at Shahpir Pilot High School, 1 thousand 65 candidates at Mostafa Begum Girls High School, and 497 candidates at Meherunnicha High School. Samaman Dakhil Examination Center, Amirabad Sufia Alia (Degree) Madrasa, 865 candidates; Sukhchari Rahmaniya Adarsh Dakhil Madrasa, 500 candidates; and Ayub Foundation School and College Technical, 128 candidates.
Lohagara Executive Officer Sharif Ullah has issued Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code within 200 yards of the centers during SSC and equivalent examinations. During the trial period, any group of more than four persons carrying firearms or sticks and organizing illegal gatherings is prohibited. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Nurul Islam said that necessary measures have been taken by the concerned authorities to conduct the examination properly.
