Dhaka Bureau: Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Golam Mohammad Quader MP extended his best wishes and congratulations to the countrymen on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. At the same time, he wished for brotherhood, peace, prosperity and unity of the Muslim Ummah. He expressed this expectation with the media workers while exchanging Eid greetings with Jatiya Party leaders-workers and dignitaries at the Jatiya Party Chairman’s Banani office auditorium today Saturday (April 22).
GM Quader also said that tolerance has become necessary in the country’s politics. He said, there will be competition in politics. We will compete from the competition. Due to competition we can become rivals but not enemies. We can solve our own problems. Outside of politics, we all want to maintain friendly relations with everyone. The assumption of power or reshuffle should also be held in a peaceful atmosphere. For this, I want everyone’s cooperation, especially the government should come forward. The government party has to play an important role to ensure tolerant politics, in the present reality the opposition party has no role to play.
He said, conflict situation has arisen in politics. We want the countrymen to be saved from this reality. Government should come forward to ensure tolerant politics. We have to take an oath on this day of Eid, we will do politics from our respective positions in the coming days. We must maintain our respect, love and brotherhood for all.
Jatiya Party Chairman said that a large number of people in the country are in economic crisis. They are unable to accept Eid as a festival. The prices of daily commodities are very high, people’s income has decreased. The people of the country are spending their days in great difficulty. It has become difficult to celebrate Eid there. Economically prosperous and capable people should stand next to the poor. Let everyone extend a helping hand to neighbors and relatives. May we all make Eid festive together.
