News desk: Followers of Mirzarkhil Darbar Sharif of Satkaniya, Chittagong have been celebrating Eid, fasting and various religious festivals in harmony with Saudi Arabia. In continuation of this, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today on Friday (April 21) in 60 villages following the Durbar.
It is reported that Mirzarkhil in Satkaniya, Gatia Denga in Eochia, Madarsha, Meishamura in Khagria, Purangarh, Suipura in Charit, Kanchannagar in Chandanish, Harala, Bainjuri, Kanaimadari, Satbaria, Barkal, Dohazari, Jamirjuri, Kalipur in Banshkhali, Chambal, Shekerkhil, Charnua in Dwip, and Toiruchar in 60 Residents of the village did not offer Taraweeh prayers on Thursday night.
Lakshmipur
The holy Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today in 10 villages of Lakshmipur district along with Saudi Arabia. People of 10 villages including Noagaon, Jaipura, Bigha, Baro Gharia, Hotatia, Sharsoi, Kanchanpur and Raipur upazilas of Ramganj upazila are celebrating Eid.
Chandpur
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today in more than half a hundred villages of Chandpur.
Locals said, Sadra, Sameshpur, Alipur, Bholachon, Jhakni, Sonachon, Pratappur, and Surangchail villages of Hajiganj upazila of Chandpur district. Dinajpur
Eid-ul-Fitr congregation is being held today in several villages of Dinajpur along with Saudi Arabia.
About 45 Eid congregations are scheduled to be held in 13 upazilas of the district. Dinajpur city, Chirirbandar, Birol, Kaharol, Birampur upazila and several areas will be celebrated together with Saudi Arabia.
The first congregation will be held at a community center in Dinajpur city at 7:45 am. Apart from this, Eid Jamaat is scheduled to be held in Newtown, Fultala, Kachari behind Islambag, Kaharol upazila’s Jaynand and Prajeya, Birampur upazila’s two villages, Chirirbandar upazila’s Saitara village, Biral upazila’s Kamdevpur and Kazipara.
Noakhali
Today, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in four villages of Begumganj and Sadar upazilas of Noakhali along with Saudi Arabia.

Lalmonirhat
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in some places of Lalmonirhat. Eid congregation will be held at Harishahar village of Tushbhandar union of Kaliganj upazila on Friday (April 21) at 9 am.
According to local sources, about a hundred families of Tushbhandar, Sundrahabi, Kakina, Chaparhat, Chandrapur, Aminganj and Munsipara villages of Kaliganj upazila will offer prayers. Every year, Muslims of these villages fast and Eid one day earlier in line with Saudi Arabia.
Pirojpur
More than 700 families of 8 villages of Pirojpur are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today in harmony with Saudi Arabia. Eid congregation will be held in 6 villages of Mathbaria upazila, 1 village of Kaukhali upazila and 1 village of Nazirpur on Friday (April 21), local public representatives said.
It has been reported that about 600 families of Vaizora, Kachubunia, Sapleja, Jhatibunia, Khetachira and Chakargachia villages of Sapleja Union of Mathbaria Upazila, 40 families of Sialkathi Village of Sialkathi Union of Kaukhali Upazila, 60 families of Khejurtala Village of Sheikhmatia Union of Nazirpur Upazila are celebrating Eid.
Faridpur
Three thousand people of 13 villages of Boalmari and Alfadanga upazilas of Faridpur are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr a day earlier today in line with Saudi Arabia.
It has been reported that about several thousand people from 13 villages including Katagarh, Sahasrail, Maitkomara, Bhulbaria, Rakhaltali, Barangkula, Dari Sahasrail and Ichapasha and Shukurhata of Alfadanga upazila will participate in it.
Mymensingh
The holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Bahadurpur Sureshwar Darbar Sharif of Gouripur Upazila, Mymensingh on Friday (April 21) in conjunction with Saudi Arabia.
Aftab Parvez Noori Al Sureshwari, Pir and Morshed Syed Shah Noor of Nurmahal Darbar Sharif, confirmed the matter on Thursday (April 20) night.
He said that the Eid-ul-Fitr congregation will be held at Sureshwar Darbar Sharif at 9:30 am today.
Sherpur
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated in nine villages of Sherpur along with Saudi Arabia. On Friday, between eight and nine o’clock in the morning, Muslims offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at separate places.
Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held separately at 9 places including North and South Charkharchar, Munsirchar, Bamnarchar, Bangaon Chatal of Jhenaigati Upazila, Nanni Madhyapara and Chinamara of Nalitabari Upazila, Baneswardi of Nakla Upazila.
One and a half to two hundred worshipers participated in each congregation. Two large congregations of Eid prayers are held at eight in the morning in Bangaon and Nanni Madhyapara.
Patuakhali
About 30,000 Muslims in 27 villages of Patuakhali are celebrating Eid today in harmony with Saudi Arabia.
Badarpur and Chhota Bighai in Patuakhali Sadar Upazila, Sener Howla, Pasuribunia, Nij Howla and Kankuni Para in Galachipa Upazila, Madanpura, Shaplakhali, Rajnagar, Baga, Dhaurabhanga, Surdi, Chandrapara, Bi-Pasha, Kanakdia Sabupura, Bamanikathi, Banajora and Amirabad in Baufal Upazila and The people of Kalapara Upazila’s Dakshin Devpur, Patua, Morichbunia, Naiya Patti, Nishanbaria, Shafakhali, Tegachia, Chhonkhola and Badurtali villages are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid prayer congregation was held at Badarpur Darbar Sharif of Sadar Upazila of Patuakhali at 9 am on Friday.

Eid congregation was held in 15 villages of Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur in coordination with Saudi Arabia.
Today, Friday (April 21) at 8 am, the Eid congregation was held in Balardiya area of the municipality. It was led by Haji Azim Uddin Master. Apart from this, Eid congregation was held in 15 villages including Mahadan, Panchpir, Balipara, Pakhadubi, Hosnabad, Bangram, Bausi. People of these villages are celebrating Eid together with Saudi Arabia.
