Md. Mehrul Islam, representative of Natore: Salat Istiska Namaz was held in repentance to get relief from the scorching heat caused by lack of rain and severe drought in Natore and to receive the rain of God’s mercy. Today Wednesday (April 19) around 11:30 am, Lalpur Sri Sundari Pilot High School organized Lalpur Bazar Mosque. Muhtamim Ziaur Rahman of Rawjatus Sunnah Qaumi Madrasah delivered the prayer and sermon in the field.
Prayers were conducted by Pesh Imam Hafez Mufti Sajjadur Rahman of Lalpur Bazar Jame Masjid.
In addition to common people, farmers, lawyers, doctors, teachers, and journalists, people of various professions participated in the prayer. Through the prayer, the Muslims raised their hands and begged Allah to remove the rain and cool the ground.
Earlier, due to the long storm, Istiska prayers were announced by miking in the area to pray for the mercy of Almighty Allah.
