Dhaka Bureau: On May 9, the application process for the first-year graduate class of Jahangirnagar University (JAB) for the academic year 2022–23 will begin. Will continue till 31 May.
This information was revealed in a notice signed by Deputy Registrar Abu Hassan posted on the university’s website on Monday, April 17.
According to the notification, the probable date of the admission test has been fixed from June 16 to June 24. However, the final date and schedule will be announced later through a notification in the daily newspaper.
According to the notification, an admission test will be held in total for 6 units this time. Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and the Institute of Information Technology under ‘A’ Unit Faculty of Sociology and Faculty of Law under ‘B’ Unit Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture under ‘C’ Unit Department of Drama and Playwriting and Department of Fine Arts under the C-1′ Unit Faculty of Biology under ‘D’ Unit and Faculty of Business Studies under ‘E’ Unit
This time, the admission fee has been set at 900 tk. for each application in units A, B, and C, and at 600 tk. for each application in units C-1, D, and E.
The application fee has to be paid through Bikash or Rocket, the notification said.
A separate notification is published on the same day for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU).
According to both the notifications, like other years, this time also there is an opportunity to conduct the entrance exam of Jahangirnagar University for the second time.
