Yesterday, Tuesday (April 11) at 11:30 PM, Dr. passed away while undergoing treatment at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital Dr. Zafrullah.
82-year-old Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury was admitted to Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi in the capital last Wednesday in a critical condition. He was taken on life support on Monday.
Dr. Zafrullah was suffering from kidney complications for a long time. Apart from kidney problems, he also developed liver problems after contracting Covid. Besides, the doctors said that he was suffering from septicemia along with malnutrition.
