Calling off the ongoing bus strike in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: The bus strike on the Kushtia-Khulna and Kushtia-Faridpur routes has been called off due to conflict between bus owners and workers in Kushtia and Jhenaidah districts.

This decision was taken in the Monday afternoon meeting of the bus owners and workers of the two districts with the Deputy Commissioner after the bus strike continued for four consecutive days. However, even if the strike is called off, the transport movement on these routes will be normal as of Tuesday morning (today).

Hasan Abul Fazal Salim, general secretary of the Kushtia District Bus Minibus Owners Group, said that the discussion has been fruitful, but some issues remain unresolved.
