Dhaka Bureau: Consumer price of LPG reduced by Tk 244 According to the new announcement, the consumer price of LPG gas has been reduced from Tk 1,422 to Tk 1,178. The new prices will be effective from Sunday evening (April 2).
Earlier, BERC chairman Nurul Amin announced the new price in a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office at noon.
According to BERC’s announcement, the retail price of private LPG has been fixed at 98 taka (17 paisa) per kg, including VAT, at the consumer level. Besides, the retail price of private LPG supplied in liquid form in a reticulated system has been fixed at Tk 94 per kg, including Musak. In the month of March, the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder was reduced by 76 taka, from 1 thousand 498 taka to 1 thousand 422 taka.
Besides, the price of autogas at the consumer level has been fixed at Tk 51 (76 paisas) per liter without Musak and Tk 54 (90 paisas) per liter with Musak.
The price of LPG 12 kg cylinder gas was raised from Tk 1,232 to Tk 1,498 in February.
