Determining the rate of fitrah per person

Dhaka Bureau: This year in Bangladesh, the rate of fitra has been set at a minimum of Tk 115 and a maximum of Tk 2,640 per person. Last year, the maximum fitrah was 2,310 taka and the minimum fitrah was 75 taka.

This rate of Sadaqatul Fitr (Fitra) for the 1444 Hijri year was decided in the meeting of the National Fitra Determination Committee at the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram.
