Dhaka Bureau: The new price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the consumer level will be announced today. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) will announce the new LPG price on Sunday, April 2, at 12:30 p.m.
Earlier in March, BERC reduced the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder from Tk 1498 to Tk 1498 to Tk 1422 at the consumer level.
According to the announcement, the retail point price of private LPG has been fixed at 118 taka (54 paise) per kg, including musk, at the consumer level. Besides, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid form in a reticulated system has been fixed at 115 taka (31 paise) per kg, including musk, at the consumer level.
The price of LPG 12 kg cylinder gas was raised from Tk 1,232 to Tk 1,498 in February.
