BNP rally started in Barisal

Barisal Correspondent: Although the Johorbad rally was supposed to start in Barisal, the Barisal divisional rally of BNP started after 10 am on Saturday (November 5).

The rally started in Bangabandhu Udyan in the city in the presence of about 10 thousand activists. However, since morning, the procession started coming to the gathering place piecemeal. As the day progressed, tens of thousands of leaders and activists attended the rally, said Barisal Metropolitan BNP convener Md. Moniruzzaman Khan Farooq.

He said, this gathering is turning into a sea of ​​people.

Meanwhile, at around 10:30 am, the rally started with chairs left empty in the middle of the stage for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman. Before this, after the recitation of the Holy Quran, Khaleda Zia and Tariq Rahman were prayed for health and long life. After that, the local leaders started giving speeches.

In the first stage of the rally, the presidents and convenors coming from different districts of Barisal division are giving speeches. The speakers said, ‘We will free BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and bring Tariq Rahman back to the country through agitation and struggle. Our movement is a movement to restore democracy.

Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest and standing committee member Mirza Abbas will be the main speaker in the rally. In addition, standing committee member Dr. National and local leaders including Abdul Moin Khan will speak.
