Parveen Sultana Diti is a girl from Dattapara village in Sonargaon municipality. He had been involved in music since childhood. During her school years, Diti was a well-known name at various local cultural events. He won the hearts of the audience in Sonargaon by singing.
He has been honored with various awards and honors for performing music at local schools, colleges, and various cultural events. Once his talent spread across the country beyond Sonargaon, She left Sonargaon for her studies and moved to the capital, Dhaka. Along with her studies, Diti used to sing regularly on Bangladesh television and radio.
Parveen Sultana Diti has released several albums of songs in her musical career. Diti’s first album is ‘Tomar O Kahe’. Once impressed by Diti’s cultural activities, various filmmakers were attracted to her.
In 1984, the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation selected newcomers through a search for new faces. Diti got a place in it efficiently. One after another, commercially successful films were made with Diti. A musician turned film actress Not only that, due to Diti’s outstanding acting skills, she won the National Film Award for her performance in the film ‘Swami-Stree’.
In 1985, the two fell in love while acting in Amjad Hossain’s movie ‘Hiramati’ with actor Sohel Chowdhury. Later, they both got married. Daughter Lamia Chowdhury was born in 1987, and son Deepta was born in 1989. However, Sohel Chowdhury-Diti’s marriage did not last. Then, on December 17, 1998, Sohel Chowdhury was murdered at Banani’s Trumps Club at around two o’clock in the night. Diti later married her most famous co-star, Ilyas Kanchan, but that marriage did not last either. This world also ends with formal separation.
