Dhaka Bureau: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the militants could not be completely controlled, but law and order forces are working to prevent them from rising with their heads.
He said these things in the Chief Guest’s speech at the Police Staff College at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (March 1), on the occasion of Police Memorial Day 2023.
The minister said that wherever the militants are hiding in the country, they will be tracked down. Hiding in different parts of the country will not do any good. Law enforcement forces will find the terrorists. That’s how intelligence activities continue. Various organizations are also working.
He said that there would be no benefit in sending letters to the Bangla Academy. They have no basis. Law enforcement and security forces have established a presence in Bangla Academy and surrounding areas prior to the start of the fair.through which it was not possible for any militant or radical group to do anything.
The minister said that all political parties are in the field during elections. They try to energize the party leaders in various ways. But this does not mean that the political situation is heating up. Creating an electoral environment requires everyone’s participation. as has been the case in the past.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, the Senior Secretary of the Sexual Security Department of the Ministry of Interior, Aminul Islam, and other senior police officers were present at the event.
