Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has commented that, after independence, propaganda was carried out to denigrate Bangabandhu. He said this at the opening ceremony of National Insurance Day 2023 on Wednesday (March 1).
The Prime Minister said that various steps have been taken to speed up the insurance sector. Insurance laws and regulations are being worked on. The Awami League has a single goal: to move Bangladesh forward.Insurance companies have a link to the country’s history of independence. While sitting in the insurance company, six points were developed.
Sheikh Hasina said, “My father, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, took a job in an insurance company for his livelihood.” The owner of that company was my father’s friend. Basically he gave him responsibility.but it didn’t last long. Due to the father’s arrest in 1962.
He stated that our father’s time working for an insurance company was extremely valuable in our lives.Because my father has earned a good income by working for an insurance company, He got the car. As a result, we were also quite good. He was with us at that time. We have a soul connection with the insurance company.
Referring to the March struggle, the Prime Minister said that March 26 is our Independence Day. UNESCO has recognized the speech of the father of the nation on March 7.
Regarding the six-point formulation, Sheikh Hasina said that Bangabandhu formulated them while sitting in that insurance company. The claims were written by Mohammad Hanif. Later, a learned person translated it. On this basis, the people’s coup in 1969, absolute victory in the elections in 1970, and independence in 1971 were all achieved.Therefore, insurance remains linked to the country’s history of independence. This is reality.
Commenting on the fact that after the independence of Bangladesh, propaganda was carried out to denigrate Bangabandhu, the head of government said that the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, built the war-torn country like a child.
