Noakhali Correspondent: RAB-11 has arrested an accused named Emon (20) in the case of the gang rape of an expatriate’s wife in Senbagh, Noakhali.
Lieutenant Commander Mahmudul Hasan, Company Commander of CPC-3 Noakhali Camp of RAB-11, gave this information in a press release on Sunday night (February 26).
Imon is the son of the late Samchul Haque of Radha village in Paschim Kazirkhil upazila.He was sent to jail by the court on Sunday evening.
In a press release, RAB-11 said that on January 5, the expatriate’s wife was gang-raped by four men. In this incident, the victim filed a case against women and children at the Senbag police station. After the case, the accused fled the area. Eamon, one of the accused in the case, was arrested from the Chandni Market area under the Dhaka New Market police station on Saturday with the help of information technology. He has been handed over to the Senbagh police station for legal action to be taken against him.
