Sunamganj Representative: A preparation meeting is scheduled to be held at the same place in Paikurati Union of Dharmapasha Upazila of Sunamganj to make the conference of two unions Awami League and the central Jubo League successful. The administration has issued section 144 from 6 am to 12 pm next Friday, focusing on these two meetings.
Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Muntasir Hasan issued this order in the early hours of Thursday (November 3).
Friday (November 4) was scheduled as the conference day of Selbarash and Paikurati Union Awami League supported by Upazila Awami League vice-president Advocate Abdul Hai Talukdar.
On the other hand, Upazila Jubo League organizing secretary Taj Uddin Ahmed called a preparatory meeting to make the central Jubo League rally a success at the same place. Two programs at the same place at the same time raises the risk of untoward incidents.
Also, on the same day, 297 candidates in the morning and 285 candidates in the afternoon will participate in the BA and BSS examination held under Open University at Badshaganj Degree College. As a result, considering the overall situation of the area and surrounding conditions, Section 144 was issued to stop the assembly.
