Md. Ayub Miyaji, Chandnaish: The government party is on a mission to strengthen the leaders and workers against the anarchy of Jamaat-BNP before the elections. To this end, in order to strengthen the Trinamool leaders and activists, the peace rally of Chandanish Upazila A-League of Chittagong was held today Saturday (February 11) at 11 am at Dohazari Hazari Shopping Center.
Relief and Social Welfare Secretary of the ruling A-League Central Committee Aminul Islam Amin spoke as the chief guest.
MP of Chittagong-14 Constituency, Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Jute and Textiles and Labor and Employment was present as a special guest.
Mofizur Rahman, General Secretary – Chittagong South District A’League spoke as the main speaker.
Upazila A-League president Zahidul Islam Jahangir presided over the program and Abu Ahmed Chowdhury Junu, general secretary, presided over the event.
Brave freedom fighter Nazrul Islam Chowdhury MP said that in order to bring A-League to power in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Trinamool should take the responsibility of conveying the government’s development message to the voters. Before the elections, they said that they want to keep the leaders-activists occupying the streets in agitation and struggle against the anarchy of Jamaat-BNP. He said that if the BNP enters the field with the program of the movement to overthrow the government, it will have to take a stand on the streets with a counter program.
It was attended by Vice President of Southern District A’League Habibur Rahman, Mayor Mahbubul Alam Khoka, President of Dohazari Municipality A’League Abdul Sukkur, General Secretary Bashir Uddin Khan Murad, Vice President Jamal Uddin Member, Former Chairman Abdullah Al Noman Beg, Farmers League leader Nawab Ali, Jubo League leader Tauhidul Alam, Secchsevak League leader Faiz Ahmed Tipu and various union chairmen and leaders of different unions and various wards of Dohazari Municipality along with the presidents and general secretaries of organizations participated.
In the event, the president thanked the people of all classes and professions including leaders and workers for making the peace rally and march a success by spontaneously joining the procession.
