Young filmmaker Naseem Sahnik is producing ‘Bachelor in Trip’. Shirin Sheela, the actress of this generation and Kayesh Arju, are acting in a pair in the movie. On December 22, movie heroine Shirin Sheela and several artists took part in the shooting at Kuakata in Patuakhali. Although there was supposed to be a five-day shooting, the filmmaker left the entire unit on the way back to Dhaka after only two days of shooting. This has been confirmed by the movie’s heroine Shirin Sheela.
It is known that the Kuakata location had a five-day shooting schedule. The unit reached there in the early hours of December 19. After leaving, the artists noticed the messy condition in the shooting unit. They claim that there was mismanagement in everything, including actors and actresses. This creates dissatisfaction in the unit.
Shirin Shila said, the condition of the room in the hotel where we were kept after leaving was very bad. There was no proper drinking water. The food was also not up to standard. Budget problem from the first day. A five-day schedule was discussed. We were returning to Dhaka after shooting for two days.
He further said that on the way back we had two microbuses and a pickup van to carry the unit’s belongings. Leaving at noon and reaching Barisal at eight o’clock in the night. The director was also with us. The driver of the micro asked to buy oil for the car on the way, the director could not pay the toll of the bridge. The driver did not want to leave the car from Barisal. One time the director left us and ran away. Later, a film artist called Dhaka and brought money for development from one of his relatives, so we were able to return to Dhaka. But the hardships I faced on the way never happened in my film life.
Amid all such mismanagement, Mukit Zakaria, Kachi Khandkar and some other movie artists have returned to Dhaka from the shooting location at their own expense. They even stayed and ate there at their own expense. These senior artists expressed their anger about the matter.
Along with these allegations, the hero of the movie, Kayes Arju, also complained and said, I have dropped these. I was given a check of Rs 35,000 by the producer, which was also dishonoured. This is not the work of a good director. The shooting schedule has also been revised. They didn’t actually come to make movies.
Meanwhile, producer Nasim Sahnik denied that he ran away on his way back from the shoot. On the contrary, he accused five artists and said that three girls and two male artists left the shooting and ran away. I am not saying their names for now. I’ll tell you when it’s time. If I feel sick, I return to Dhaka by another route. There was no escape incident. However, he admitted the dishonor of Kayes Arzu’s check. Said it was given by the producer.
Earlier, debutant actress Raj Ripa lodged a general diary (GD) against the producer with the police station, alleging fraud. He made a GD at Ramna police station on the night of November 29 (GD No. 1764).
