Dhaka Bureau: The Ministry of Education has formed a monitoring team to investigate complaints of high admission fees in various institutions across the country. On Wednesday (December 21), 4 monitoring committees were formed under the leadership of 4 deputy secretaries of the Ministry of Education.
The members of the committee are visiting various educational institutions to check whether the authorities are accepting the admission, admission fee, development fee and other fees properly according to the admission policy of the ministry in the case of admission of students in government, private schools and private schools and colleges in the academic year 2023.
In addition, 16 monitoring committees formed by Maushi Directorate of Dhaka Metropolitan, 8 Divisional Monitoring Committees of Divisional Headquarters District, 55 District Monitoring Committees of District Headquarters and Upazila Monitoring Committees are monitoring on the mentioned matters in all the educational institutions of Upazila and providing reports to Maushi Directorate. If any irregularity is found anywhere, appropriate action will be taken as per rules.
