Tangail Correspondent: There have been several accidents on the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway due to thick fog.
On Thursday (December 15) morning, at least 16 accidents occurred in one kilometer from Dhalla to Mirzapur Charpara on the highway. One person was killed.
OC of Gogai Highway Police Station Mollah Tutul confirmed this information and said that one person was killed when a bus hit the back of a pickup van on the Dhaka-bound lane in the Dhalya-Mansur area of the highway at 9 am. The deceased is a bus helper. The body was taken to the police station. His name was not found.
Tangail Traffic Sergeant Mostak Ahmed said that 15 to 16 accidents have occurred in different areas of Mirzapur since morning. Dhaka-bound lane is closed. However, vehicles are moving through the service lane. Police are working on the highway. will be normal soon.
