Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: 24 Rohingya are leaving Bangladesh in the first phase as part of the US refugee resettlement announcement. They will leave Dhaka for the United States on Thursday (December 8) night.

The foreign minister also said that 40 people live in every square mile in the United States. On the other hand, Bangladesh has a population of 3,200 people per square mile. I said to him, the place in your country; It can take one lakh Rohingya. In response, he said, they will take 125,000 Rohingyas from all over the world. Of this, 300 to 800 people will be taken from Bangladesh annually.
However, the foreign minister does not see this rehabilitation as a solution. He said, the real solution is repatriation. Repatriation of Rohingyas to their own country. Myanmar promised repatriation. But it is not seen in reality.
Meanwhile, sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 24 Rohingyas will leave Dhaka for the United States at 1 pm today. In the meantime, 24 Rohingyas have arrived in Dhaka from Cox’s Bazar.
