Comilla Correspondent: Four persons, including the driver of a CNG-powered autorickshaw, were killed by a train in Comilla’s Manoharganj. The accident took place on Tuesday (December 6) around 10 am at Tuguria railway crossing near Manoharganj-Nangalkot border.
The deceased are CNG driver Shahid Ullah (45), son of Tabu Mia of Uttarhaola village of Manoharganj upazila, Maksudur Rahman (55), son of Siddikur Rahman of the same village, Habibur Rahman (22), son of Abu Taher, Mahiful Begum (30), daughter of deceased Abdul Hai of Bharnikhand village of the same upazila.
OC Laksam Railway Police Station. Jasim Uddin said that an autorickshaw from Munsirhat in Manoharganj was hit by the Noakhali Express train leaving from Noakhali and bound for Laksam while crossing the Tuguria railway crossing. Four people including the autorickshaw driver were killed on the spot.
