It is learned that a fire broke out at the furniture shop in Kattali, Pahartali. Later, two units of the fire service went to the spot and started extinguishing the fire.
Although no detailed information was available in this regard, it is known that the fire was brought under control at around 3 am as of the last report. No information was immediately available about the damage caused by the incident.
Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director (Chittagong) Md. Abdur Razzak said that the fire was reported at 2:10 am. Five units of the fire service are working to control the fire.
At around 4:30 am, this fire service official said that the fire was brought under control at around 3:15 am. However, the fire is still not completely extinguished. In addition, it is not yet confirmed how the fire started.
