The Crime Desk: A team of Chandgaon police station in Chittagong has rescued a child kidnapped from the city from Dhaka.
Along with the rescue of the child from Bashundhara in Dhaka on Friday night, one of the kidnappers was also arrested, said Chandgaon Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Aftab Uddin.
The arrested accused is Mominul Islam Sohag (23), son of Abdul Hamid of the Bhatgaon area of the Chhatak police station in the Sunamganj district.
Chandgaon Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Aftab Uddin said that a child was kidnapped from the Chandgaon police station area. A case was registered in the police station in this incident. Later, a drive was conducted in the Bashundhara area of Dhaka; the victim was rescued and the kidnapper was arrested.
