Banskhali Correspondent: Police have arrested Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, former chairman of Sadhanpur Union Parishad of Banskhali and general secretary of Upazila Krishak League. He was arrested from his home in Sadhanpur of the upazila around 10:30 am on Sunday.
He is the son of the former chairman of Sadhanpur, the late Habib Ullah Chowdhury. According to the police, there is a specific case against him in the police station.
Saiful Islam, OC of Banskhali police station, said that the former chairman of Sadhanpur, Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, has been arrested on the basis of the case. He was produced in court. Former chairman Ahsan Ullah has been sent to jail on the orders of the court.
