In a circular of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on Wednesday, it has been informed how the students will get the results. It is said in the notification that the result sheet of each institution can be downloaded in any of the mentioned methods. On the website of Dhaka Education Board, www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd, www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, and www.eduboardresults.gov.bd, click on the result corner and enter the EIIN of the educational institution to download the institution-wise result sheet and through roll and registration number. You can download the result sheet.
The result of the exam will also be available through SMS. Result can be collected by SMS: Type HSC Board name (first 3 letters). Roll year to 16222. Example: HSC Dha 123456 should be typed 2024 and sent to 16222.
HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. This time there were 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 candidates. After 8 days of examination, all examinations on July 18 were postponed due to the situation surrounding the quota reform movement. After that, the government suspended the examination in three phases.
Later, after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government on August 5 in a student uprising, it was decided to hold the exam in a new schedule from August 11. However, many of the candidates protested not to take the postponed examination. At one point, the next exams were canceled in the face of agitation.
As already decided, HSC or equivalent exam results will be canceled midway based on SSC or equivalent exam marks (subject mapping). In this regard, President of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that the answer sheets of the subjects that have already been tested will be evaluated and the results will be published. And for those subjects that have not been examined, the results will be published on the basis of SSC or equivalent examination results by subject mapping.
There is a policy for topic mapping. In this process, the marks obtained by a candidate in a subject in SSC, if that subject is in HSC, and the entire marks obtained in SSC will be taken into consideration. And if there is a difference in subjects in SSC and HSC and equivalent examinations, the result will be published considering the marks as per subject mapping policy.
