Dhaka Bureau: The time for submission of income tax returns has been extended by one more month. Taxpayers can submit returns till December 31. This time has been extended in view of the application of traders and taxpayers.
On Wednesday (November 30), NBR Chairman Abu Hena said in the conference room of NBR. Rahmatul Munim announced the extension of time.
He said, in view of the global and domestic economic crisis, NBR has decided to extend the time in the face of the demands of stakeholders including traders. After December 31, the time will not be extended.
Earlier, on Tuesday (November 29) taking into account the long-term negative effects of Corona and the ongoing global economic crisis situation, the apex body of businessmen FBCCIE applied for a one-month extension in the filing of income tax returns for the fiscal year 2022-2023.
