Noakhali Correspondent: The Directorate of Narcotics Control (DNC) has arrested a drug dealer named Abdul Haque (47) with 1,400 Yaba tablets in Sonaimuri, Noakhali.
He was arrested from his residence on Monday (October 14). Assistant Director of Narcotics Control Department’s Noakhali Office, Md. Abdul Hamid, confirmed the matter.
The arrested Abdul Haque is the son of deceased Ali Mia of Yusuf Bepari village of Rajibpur village of Ward No. 2 of Bargaon Union. The Narcotics Control Directorate said that he kept Yaba in his residence and sold it.
Assistant Director Md. Abdul Hamid said, under the leadership of Inspector Mohammad Saiful Islam of District Narcotics Control Directorate Noakhali, a raid was conducted at the residence of Abdul Haque. He was arrested there with 1,400 Yaba tablets. He is a listed drug dealer. There are several cases against him. He has been sent to court with another new case in the name of Abdul Haque.
