Dr. Hasan said that Awami League president Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has moved the BCL conference to 6 instead of 8 at Suhrawardy Udyan. So that after the demolition of that stage, pandal, BNP can take time to construct the stage and their pandal. It is easy to postpone a conference but it is not easy to bring it forward. Nasim was beaten by the police during their tenure, Matia Chowdhury, one of our senior leaders, was beaten up by the police, I too was beaten by the police, in this way none of their leaders had to suffer in our 14-year tenure. The government is helping them so they can hold rallies across the country unhindered, which we could not do during their time.
In response to a question about the influence of militants in the BNP rally, the Broadcasting Minister said, BNP is the main sponsor of militants in this country, because of them the rise of militants has occurred. The inactivity of the militants that we see in recent times is also related to the inactivity of the BNP.
He said, the emergence of militant groups in our country is at the hands of BNP. Bangla Bhai was fielded by BNP. Bangla Bhai was given police protection when BNP was in power. The godfather behind Operation Killing Commander Bangla Bhai was Ruhul Quddus Dulu, former mayor of Rajshahi Minu, Alamgir Kabir, Nadeem Mostafa, Barrister Aminul Haque and many others. This is how BNP caused the rise and spread of militant groups. In their time, militants have made their presence known by exploding bombs at 500 places, against which no effective action has been taken.
Dr. Hasan said that recently, BNP has been making provocative speeches in the name of gatherings across the country and is trying to create chaos in the country. At the same time, it is seen that the militants are also active than before. BNP is the main sponsor of militant groups and terrorist groups in this country. How many parties their 22-party alliance is a matter of testing, but in any case, there are leaders of those militant groups who believe and cherish the Taliban policy of Afghanistan and dream of making the country Afghanistan.
