The Crime Desk: The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) of the new interim government will be held today, Wednesday.
It is said that four development projects will be presented. Apart from this, a project will be presented for extension only.
The projects to be presented in the meeting are the Bakhrabad-Meghnaghat-Haripur gas transmission pipeline construction (revised) project. Apart from this, two appraisal and development wells (Sundalpur-4 and Srikail-5) and two exploration wells (Sundalpur South-1 and Jamalpur-1) were drilled.
Data Up: Empowerment of Women through Information Communication Technology to Build Digital Bangladesh-Second Phase (2nd Revised) and lastly, Sustainable Social Services Project in Chittagong Hill Tracts (2nd Revised). Meanwhile, the Sustainable Social Services Project in Chittagong Hill Tracts (Revised II) will be presented only to extend the period without increasing the expenditure.
However, it is reported that two projects have been returned for re-examination, even though a total of six projects were supposed to be presented for presentation at Ekne.
