The Crime Desk: Top terrorists are being released from jail one by one on bail. Almost all of them had been imprisoned for at least 22 years. Almost all of them have 7 to 15 cases against them for murder, extortion, vandalism, and encroachment. One by one, they were released from jail after getting bail in all the cases. Among them, the top terrorist Sheikh Aslam, alias Swede Aslam, of the East Raja Bazar area of the capital was released on bail from Kashimpur High Security Jail on Tuesday night.
Kashimpur High Security Jail District Lutfar Rahman said, since 2014, he has been imprisoned in Kashimpur Jail. He was released on Tuesday night after his bail papers were verified.
Sweden Aslam was arrested in 1997. There were 22 cases against him. Among them, there are 9 murder cases, including Ghalib murder, in the Tejgaon area.
Five more of the top terrorists have been released on bail in the last month. They are Sanjidul Islam Imon alias Kalabagan Imon, Abbas, Titon, Picchi Helal, and Freedom Rasu. Emon was released from Dhaka Central Jail on August 14. At the same time, Emon’s main aide, Mamun, was also released on bail. Earlier on August 12, Freedom Rasu and Picchi Helal were released from the same prison. There are 13 cases against Rasu, including the murder of a police officer. Teton’s name is number 2 in the list of 23 top terrorists. In December 2003, DB arrested him with 1 pistol from a house in the Cantonment police station area. Titon was released on bail from Kashimpur High Security Jail on August 12 after the cases were granted bail.
Abbas Uddin, alias Killer Abbas was released on bail from Kashimpur High Security Jail on August 13. Abbas was the underworld don of Kafrul, Kachukshet, and Ibrahimpur areas of the capital. 10 cases, including 6 murder cases, are pending against him. However, he got bail in these 10 cases one by one.
Earlier, one of the 23 top terrorists, Vikas Kumar Biswas, alias Vikas, went missing after being released on Kashimpur High Security bail on December 12, 2012. Since then, Vikas Ferrari has gone into hiding in India as an accused.
Tanvirul Islam Joy was the number four listed accused in this list of top terrorists. In 2004, he fled and hid in America. Four years ago, he went into hiding in Malaysia. He died while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Malaysia on April 13 this year while in hiding.
In this regard, top terrorists Arman of Moghbazar, Kamal Pasha of Mohammadpur, and Freedom Sohail of Khilgaon are imprisoned in the list of 23 top terrorists.
