Correspondent: Today around 1:30-2:00 PM, a group of 20/30 miscreants entered the head office of Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) in the Kawran Bazar area of the capital. First, they entered the office of the chairman of the organization and started shouting various slogans. After that, they started vandalizing the chairman’s office and other offices. At one point, they got involved in an argument with the official of the organization.
At that time, after learning that BSEC Chairman Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman was staying in his room, they entered the chairman’s room together. At this time, the miscreant group first identified itself as the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement. They then proceeded to present their various unethical claims. At this time, the chairman dealt with them with great patience and skill.
At one point, two miscreants among them took a BSEC employee down to the office and offered to remove all the coordinators in return for a huge sum of money. The miscreants, who had already identified themselves as coordinators, threatened the BSEC authorities and left the office one by one. If in doubt, the officers and employees of BSEC hand over the criminals to the army.
In light of the facts of the situation, the appropriate legal process is being taken by the BSEC authorities.
