The Crime Desk: A teenager named Eamon (17), who was shot in the Bhatara Nabunbazar area of the capital due to the quota movement, died while undergoing treatment. He died in a ward of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday (August 2) around 3 pm.
The deceased Emon is the son of Salim Ali of Chonpur village in Muradnagar upazila of Comilla. He used to work in a rice hotel in the Bhatara New Market area. Lived there.
Tahmina, the sister of the deceased Selim, said that there was a clash with the quota activists and the police in front of the new market hotel on July 19 at noon. Emon was injured. He was admitted to Dhaka Medical on the same day in critical condition.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp in charge confirmed the death by referring to the doctor. Bachchu Mia He said that Eman’s body has been kept in the morgue for a postmortem.
