Sitakunda Correspondent: Five officials and one member of the police have been held responsible for distributing the questions of the second paper of the physics first paper examination to the HSC examinees at the Vijaya Memorial Degree College Center in Bhatiari Union, Sitakunda.
On Friday (July 12), the investigation committee formed by the upazila administration submitted a report to the upazila executive officer (UNO), KM Rafiqul Islam, blaming them.
They are the principal of the college and the secretary of the examination center, Shiv Shankar Sheel, convener of the examination committee. Noman, Assistant Professor Shahidullah Azad, Member of the Center Examination Committee and Lecturer Farzana Akhtar, Upazila Assistant Education Officer (TAG Officer), and a Police Constable.
In the meantime, four people, including the central secretary, convener of the committee, and two members, were relieved from duty.
This report will be sent to the Deputy Commissioner and Chittagong Education Board Chairman on Sunday (July 14) to take the necessary measures.
The question papers are sorted and distributed at the center as per the routine in the treasury of the district administration. The report of the inquiry committee said that there was negligence on the part of the responsible officials at both levels.

Earlier on Thursday (July 11) at the Vijay Memorial Degree College Center at 10 a.m., the questions for the second paper were given at the time of distribution of the creative question paper after the impersonal question paper for the first paper in physics at 10:30 a.m. An hour and a half after these question papers were returned, the first paper questions were brought from the Treasury, and the examination was conducted.
UNOKM Rafiqul Islam, President of the Board of Directors of the College, said, “We have received the investigation report.” If the error in the question paper had been caught while opening the packet, then this problem would not have occurred.
