Bandarban Correspondent: A farmer named Abu Bakkar (55) died in a landslide at Ikshyanchari in Bandarban. He is the son of Mritya Ali Mia of Phultali village in Ward No. 9 of the Naikshyongchari Sadar Union.
On Saturday (June 29), Abu Bakr was doing agricultural work on the side of the hill cut next to his house as usual. He died suddenly when the ground collapsed from the previously cut hill.
Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Nurul Abshar Emon said the incident is true. He died in a landslide.
Naikshyongchari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) told the media that he heard the matter and sent the chairman to the spot. Later, he said that he would take legal action.
