The Crime Desk: A new bus service has been announced between Chittagong and Kolkata. The announcement was made after the meeting between the Prime Ministers of Bangladesh and India on Saturday. On this day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
13 announcements were made at the end of the meeting. Notable among them are: 1. A new train service will be started between Rajshahi and Kolkata. 2. A new bus service has been announced between Chittagong and Kolkata. 3. Goods train service will be started between Gede-Darshana and Haldibari-Chilahati up to Dalgaon. 4. An inland container depot will be constructed at Sirajganj with grant support. 5. The export of 40 MW of electricity from Nepal to Bangladesh through the Indian grid will start. 6. A joint technical committee will be formed to discuss the renewal of the Ganga Water Treaty. 7. Bangladesh has joined the Indo-Pacific Initiative. 8. A medical e-visa for Bangladeshis was launched. 9. India will send a technical team to distribute Teesta water.
