Correspondent: On the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League, a discussion meeting was held in Lohagara on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m. Abdul Motaleb CIP, Member of Parliament and Satkania Upazila Awami League President, emphasized the unity of party leaders and workers in the meeting organized at the Lohagara Upazila Awami League office.
In his speech as the chief guest, he also said that there has always been a conspiracy against the Awami League. All the leaders and workers of the party, under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, must have unity against the conspirators. This discussion meeting was organized by the Lohagara Upazila Awami League. The discussion meeting was presided over by the newly elected Chairman of Lohagara Upazila Parishad and Upazila Awami League President Khorshed Alam Chowdhury.
Upazila Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Abul Kalam Azad moderated the discussion meeting with Chittagong South District Awami League members Alhaj Jan Mohammad Sikder, Shahidul Kabir Salim, Upazila Awami League Vice-President Chairman Nuruchchafa Chowdhury, Chairman Harunur Rashid, Jahangir Hossain Manik, Zainul Abedin, and Upazila Awami Awami League organizational secretary Nazmul Hasan Mintu, Mujibur Rahman Mujib, Shahe Alam Paltu, Md. Gazi Ishaq Mia, Abchar Ahmad, Didarul Alam Babul, Riton Barua Rona, Ali Ahmad, Ashab Uddin, Ali Ahmad, Ridwanul Haque Sujan, etc.
After the discussion meeting, under the leadership of Member of Parliament Abdul Motaleb CIP, the organization’s 75th anniversary cake was cut, and tributes were paid to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu installed in the Upazila Parishad ground.
