City Reporter: A young man named Md. Idris Mia (20) died tragically after being hit by a train at the Saltgola crossing area of the city.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Thursday (June 6) near Sluichgate. The head was completely separated from the body by the train.
The deceased Idris Mia is the son of the deceased Abdul Khalek of the Ulohati area under the Nandale police station in Mymensingh district. He lived in the rented house of Shahabuddin’s house in the Narikeltala area, under the Patenga police station of the city.
Confirming the matter at Railway Police Station OCSM Shahidul Islam Janana, we went to the spot as soon as we got the news. The head is completely separated from the body of the victim. The body of the young man was recovered and sent to Chamek Hospital morgue for autopsy. Relatives of the deceased also came. Legal action is pending. After the post-mortem, the dead body will be handed over to relatives.
