Thousands of crores of rupees have been smuggled out of the country. BNP leader Tariq Rahman is living on the run after being sentenced in money laundering case. Begum Zia is serving sentence in case of embezzlement of orphans’ money. The leaders of that party say that they will go back to the state power and establish democracy in the country. It is not acceptable to talk about reserves in the mouth of money grabbers.
He said, after the killing of the father of the nation by his family, I risked my life to return to the country and engage in the struggle for people’s rights. Since then, I have been working for people’s rights. We came to power again and again with your judgment. And whenever we came to power, we worked to improve the fortunes of the people of the country. And those who were in power in the past turned the nation into a nation of beggars. People of the country used to bring old clothes from abroad. There was no food in people’s stomachs. There was no shelter for the head, there was no treatment for diseases. We formed the government in 1996 and started working for the welfare of the people of this country. When we came to power, we set up community clinics in villages to treat the people of the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, we have built digital Bangladesh with the aim of creating employment for people. From this Jessore, I started the journey of the NGO Park era.
