Rangamati Correspondent: The UP Chairman was shot dead in a surprise attack by two men on Barathli Union Parishad Chairman Atomang Marma No. 4 of Bilaichhari Upazila of Rangamati.
On Tuesday, May 21, at around 11 o’clock in the night, the UP Chairman was ambushed by two men while he was staying at his uncle’s house. At that time, the UP chairman was shot and injured.
Bilaichari Upazila Executive Officer Jamshed Alam Ranna confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Barathli Union Parishad Chairman was attacked at around 11 o’clock last night. I have learned that he was injured in two parts of his body. But there is no danger. He was taken to Bandarban for treatment.
