Chandpur Correspondent: In Faridganj, Chandpur, three brave freedom fighters left the illusion of the world and went to the land of no return. Locals mourn for these three battlefield heroes. On Friday (May 17), former commander of Faridganj Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Shaheed Uliah Tapadar confirmed the matter.
These 3 dead battlefield heroes are freedom fighter Mohammad Ullah Miyaji (78), a resident of Miaji house in Krishnapur village of No. 2 Balithuba East Union of Faridganj; freedom fighter Chand Khan (72), a resident of Khan house in Deichar village of the same union; and Bir freedom fighter Chand Khan (72), a resident of Tapadar house in Khajuria village of Gupti West Union. Freedom Fighter Md. Abdul Quader Tapadar (75).
Confirming this information, the former commander of the Faridganj Upazila Freedom Fighters Sangsad, Shaheed Uliah Tapadar, said, “3 of our comrades-in-arms, brave freedom fighters, died at their homes on Thursday night due to old age.” We are all deeply saddened by their deaths.
Former land secretary Maksudur Rahman Patwari, a resident of Faridganj, said that the death of three battlefield heroes is bad news and an irreparable loss for Faridganj upazila. May Allah Almighty grant them the status of heroes in the hereafter and grant them Jannatul Ferdows.
