The Crime Desk: All the educational institutions across the country are opening on Sunday after being closed for several days due to the severe heat wave. However, according to the decision of the Ministry of Education, no assembly can be held in any institution before the start of classes. Besides, students are not allowed to participate in any educational activities outside of the class.
This information was informed in a notification from the Ministry of Education yesterday, Saturday. It has been said that, subject to compliance with the conditions of the notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on April 25, teaching activities will continue in all secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions of the country from tomorrow, Sunday.
Apart from this, classes will be held according to the new schedule as the declared holiday is over in all the primary schools in the country from today.
All educational institutions were supposed to open on April 21 after the holy Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. However, all schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Ministry of Education have been declared holiday due to the severe heat wave.
Then, on April 28, all educational institutions were conditionally opened. The following Monday, the High Court ordered the closure of all primary, secondary, and madrassas in the country until Thursday.
On the same day, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced in a notification the closure of primary schools until Thursday. Secondary and college-level educational institutions were also closed.
